Do you know this song? “Good morning, Mr. Zip-zip-zip, with your haircut just as short as mine,

Mr. Zip-zip-zip was a generic name intended to suggest that the song was for everyone and any man’s name could fit in there — we would probably call him Mr. Blah-blah-blah or Mr. Yada-yada-yada.

The lyric goes on:

“Ashes to ashes and dust to dust,

“If the camels don’t get you, the fatimas must…”

For a long time, I wondered where on earth the AEF deployed its troops that they would have encountered camels, not to mention lovely Turkish ladies in veils. here’s the explanation:
